Event & Market Staff Wanted

We’re hiring student staff to help support markets and events throughout San Diego County. Events may take place on campus and off campus, and schedules can include both weekdays and weekends. 

This role is ideal for college students looking for flexible, part-time work alongside their school commitment.

📅 Schedule & Availability

• Events may take place on weekdays and weekends
  
• Shifts typically range from 4–8 hours
  
• Scheduling varies by quarter and is based on event needs and student availability

📍 Location 

• San Diego County, CA

Event locations vary and details are provided in advance.

💼 Responsibilities

• Independently manage a vendor booth during assigned shifts
  
• Greet customers and represent the brand professionally
  
• Share basic product and brand information (training provided)
  
• Answer general questions and assist customers as needed
  
• Keep the booth organized, clean, and visually appealing
  
• Assist with event setup and tear-down when needed

Note: You may be the only staff member assigned to a booth, so comfort working   independently and taking ownership of the space is important.

👤 Ideal Candidate

• Currently enrolled student (Winter 2026)
  
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
  
• Comfortable working independently and engaging with the public
  
• Friendly, professional communication style
  
• Event, market, customer service, or promotional experience is a plus (not required)
  
• Must have a reliable car and be able to drive to event locations

💰 Compensation

  Starting rate: $18/hour + variable pay
